ACTIVITIES...
At Long View Nursing Home we strive to address the wide range of interest of our residents, since daily activities are a necessary part of life. The purposes of these activities are to promote new and satisfying social relationships, and help the resident to interact in their new social environment. The range of activities vary to meet the needs of residents due to health and interest. The activity coordinator plans and implements the activities with the help of residents, staff, families, and volunteers. The activities are posted on unit bulletin boards, as well as monthly activity calendars are printed and given to residents.
